Martin McLean -
Executive Vice-President Sales, Eastern North America
Mr. McLean and his team of developers worked together for 12 years to create a software product that rivals the features and performance of any Supply Chain Execution system on the market today. Every year since 1995 his team developed a major version of Warehouse Librarian that has proven itself with customers in the year it was delivered - running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an average downtime due to system failure of less than .000001% per year. His team has implemented the only standard, robust, off-the-shelf material handling equipment interfaces within the SCE market space. Mr. McLean is an unparallel leader and motivator of software developers, with a track record of retaining the best talent for extremely long tenures. Mr. McLean created a software engineering training program that takes advantage of Intek's re-usable code and tools to leverage productivity from software engineers and produce higher quality code faster. Mr. McLean was responsible for managing and growing the product development team (Intek's largest staff team) and has responsibility for staff management, product releases and software defect fixes to ensure Intek continues to meet scheduled customer deadlines and exceed customer expectations with its software suites.
In 2002, after several years of preparation and training of a replacement, Mr. McLean transitioned from day to day management of software development in order to focus on business development and direct sales for Intek. Mr. McLean has established himself in the pursuit of business channels while at the same time becoming a major contributor to Intek's sales revenue, and in 2005 became Intek's top producing sales person. Although Mr. McLean still oversees the design and architecture of Intek's software products his focus and efforts remain concentrated in direct sales and business channel development.
Prior to joining Intek, Mr. McLean was employed by Eden Systems, Seattle, Washington in financial systems support, development and implementation. Mr. McLean is degreed in Computer Science/Programming.
